netPlanner has been successfully deployed to Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) for the State of Louisiana to implement netPlanner to all of its Parishes.
July 2007 State of Louisiana’s Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) has purchased netPlanner a Web based Emergency Planning application that will put all of its Parishes and the State Emergency Operations Plan online. netPlanner allows Emergency Managers and Planners to setup their planning team allowing them to collaborate their planning efforts.
To ensure netPlanner meets the needs of all users, a Planning Team comprised of local and state Emergency Managers has been established to test and enhance netPlanner. Future projects include a Foreign Animal Disease Incident Annex, additional Support Annexes and a version of netPlanner for the newly revised State Emergency Operations Plan.
